Trick-or-Treat!

posted by Larr at 9:43 PM
I know, I know. So it's been a while since I've posted anything on the blog! Sigh...honestly I have no excuse other than we've been so busy that most days I meet myself going and coming! But no way is Halloween gonna pass without a post. And what a great Halloween it was, too! We kicked off the festivities with our annual pumpkin carving celebration with Kari and Joe. As usual, the pumpkins were AWESOME! Then Friday night we headed over to Uncle D's for a weenie roast and pumpkin carving contest, complete with prizes and everything. So fun! Larr took third prize this year. He was a little disappointed, but he handled it like a champ. We're working with Aidan on how to be a good loser, so it wouldn't have gone over well had Larr fallen to the floor in a kicking, screaming fit. Ha-ha!! Then Saturday night, despite the kids having blicky colds, we took them trick-or-treating for a while. We started at Aunt B's, and we worked our way back into Paris where we stopped at Mema Tallant's, Grandma's, and Aunt Kari and Uncle Joe's. We finally made it out to Powderly to round out the evening with rice krispy treats at Mamaw and Papaw's. Yummy! And finally, tonight we capped off Halloween 2007 with the Pumpkin Patch Festival at church. Needless to say, the kids had a ball and I'll be bringing candy as my contribution to Thanksgiving dinner this year. Enjoy the slide show!
